| Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and the company's Warner Premiere direct-to-video unit announced the launch of Motion Comics, delivering short-form digital video content inspired by graphic novels first published via Warner-owned DC Comics. Promising to bolster traditional comic book art with subtle movements, voiceovers and music scores, Motion Comics will launch across multiple platforms including online and mobile with an adaptation of the classic Batman: Mad Love , which bows today on Verizon Wireless' V Cast Video service and on the Xbox Live network. Beginning Aug. 2, Motion Comics will debut on Apple's iTunes the first in a series of shorts based on the landmark Alan Moore/Dave Gibbons maxiseries Watchmen , the subject of a forthcoming live-action feature film.
