Host Club: Vancouver USA Volkssporters Distance and Trail Rating: 5/10 km 1+ Start Point Address / Driving Directions: On Columbia Street between 6th and 8th Streets, Vancouver. Northbound on I-5 and westbound on SR-14, Exit # 1-B (City Center). Left on 6th St. then west 3 blocks to Columbia St. Southbound on I-5, Exit # 1-C (Mill Plain West) and proceed west 5 blocks on 15th St. Left (south) on Columbia St. to 8th St. and turn right. Parking is along streets in the vicinity of Esther Short Park, or in the Park & Go Lot at 6th & Columbia for a small charge. Event Description: THE PEOPLE'S WALK - A Stroll thru History. Both the 10 & 5 km routes are on city sidewalks. The routes go past historic sites including the rebuilt Ft. Vancouver & Officer’s Row, & through the July 4th Celebrate Freedom Festival. The longer route goes past the historic City Cemetery.
