Over the course of the last month I've said it outright on air, I've alluded to it on the blog, and I've announced it from stages in The Yukon and Ottawa. Fuse is about to be extinguished . There, I've finally announced it here in print fully and formally. There is a myriad of reasons why the CBC has decided it's time to snuff it out, but the main one is that a great deal of the bands we record on the show are recorded for Canada Live on CBC Radio 2 . Canada Live gets some great recordings, and you can stream stuff there like you do here on our Concerts and Sessions pages. So, alas, that's it. Our final schedule takes us into September. Tomorrow's show is Cuff the Duke and Greg Keelor , which was enlightening and wonderful.
