Football I know it might seem like it's Brett Favre all the time, but actually it is, so bear with us while we continue this soap opera. Mike McCarthy (GB Coach) met with Brett for 5 hours Monday night. Favre passed his physical and was reinstated to the team roster, BUT we still don't know if he'll report to practice today (at 3:00 pm EDT). McCarthy promised there will be an answer by 3:00, but as the world turns, so do the days of our Brett........ stay tuned Oakland Raiders' Receiver Javon Walker allegedly told his team last week that he wanted to retire. Since then he has apparently changed his mind. Walker signed a six year $55 million dollar deal this year which includes a $11 million dollar signing bonus. If Walker retires he will lose out on the $11 mill. bonus. In June Walker was found unconscious on a street in Las Vegas, the victim of an apparent robbery. Whether his alleged desire to retire was due to the the trauma of this occurance or the fact that he appeared out of shape at practice is a mystery, but if you are on a fantasy football team (as I am), you might think twice about drafting a player who has already stated he "might" not want to play.
