College Football The season begins today! Which team is your favorite? Baseball Instant Replay debuts today in three series: Philadelphia at the Chicago Cubs, Minnesota at Oakland, and Texas at the Los Angeles Angels. As with any change to this hallowed game, be prepared to hear arguments on both sides of this rule. For all those traditionalists out there consider this, the NFL instituted instant replay in 1986, the NHL followed in 1991 and the NBA succumbed in 2002. And, instant replay was even used in this year's Little League World Series. The Yankees lost again to the Red Sox Wednesday night (11-3). The Yankees are dangerously close to missing the Post Season, which they have made every years since 1993. I'm heading to the game with my Kids Thursday and hope the game is at least more interesting than the ice cream dots. Olympics Michael Phelps reportedly inked a $1.6 million advance for his book , "Built to Succeed", which should be in bookstores in December. Dara Torres, the 41 year old phenomenon who came out of retirement after she gave birth two years ago to compete in the Olympics, also inked a two book deal.
