Vodafone Portugal (VP) has deployed Brilliant Telecommunications' IEEE 1588v2-based synchronization solution for its live IP-based mobile backhaul network. VP is migrating its backhaul infrastructure from leased lines to Ethernet, beginning with the cities of Lisbon and Porto.
