Total, two-day attendance this year: 60,289, according to a festival rep. And only half of them were in Lil Wayne's entourage! (Oh, I keed, I keed.) "This number met our expectations and we're thrilled with the amazing response we've gotten to the festival, the memorable performances, and the entire experience," says festival spokeswoman Audrey Fix Schaefer. Expectations must have been kind of modest this year, then: The 140-acre track at Pimlico could have held up to 120,000 festival-goers during the two-day music bacchanalia (although if there were that many people there, it would have been pretty uncomfortable). Two-day attendance in 2007 was about 74,000. In 2006, when VFest was confined to a single day, attendance was about 40,000.
