It all begins when the Goddess Hel (not the be confused with the Swedish rock band) , gets extremely pissed off at being banished by Odin (Head-God) from the heavenly realm of Asgard for breaking some rules. Naturally this means she must now rage war against Asgard , and the Gods, killing them all. Like every crazy mythological Norse-Goddess she seeks out Fenrir (big scary wolf) who is destined to, well, start a big-arse battle ( Ragnarok ) which will ultimately destroy the world. Now this sounds all a bit scary and doomy, until Freya (Goddess of War) comes onto the scene to stop that evil cow, Hel . This is where YOU come into play my good reader - Freya picks Skarin (a silent young warrior , i.e. you) as her champion of champions. It is your task to save the future of mankind (no pressure) and rid Asgard of the evil forces of Hel . The game starts with you being resurrected by Freya and told of your destiny..
