Qik, pronounced "quick," is enabling a select group of video bloggers, some network news organizations and even Vatican officials to report and document developments with the camera on a smart phone. No longer the province of a select group, Qik opens up today to the public. Also, users with both Symbian and Windows Mobile smart phones can use the system. There are some interesting new social functions in which users can "narrowcast" to just a selected group.
