I was lucky enough to participate in a call with Verizon Wireless where they stated they would join a consortium working on a Linux-based mobile operating system expected to rival a mobile system being developed by a group headed by Google. During the call today VZW stated they would continue to carry Windows Mobile devices along with RIM and Palm OS BUT stated the LiMo will be the core OS going forward.. ...
