Verisign names new CEO

VeriSign CEO Bill Roper announced his resignation late last week. He served in the position for only a year. Roper was replaced by company founder and chairman, Jim Bidzos. In a statement, VerisSign said Roper officially left the position on June 30. Roper was appointed in May 2007 after former CEO Stratton Sclavos also abruptly resigned [...] ...
