I saw a link on dealhack this morning for a Factory Renewed Tivo HD for $180 (direct from Tivo). I currently have a series 2 dual tuner. I'd simply like to swap it out for the Tivo HD without messing with my subscription options. It looks like on Tivo's website that I either have to commit to monthly service at $12.95 a month or pay the annual $130 subscription fee. Any of you know if it's possible to just buy the Tivo HD and swap it out - should I just try and call Tivo rather than ordering online? I had done this once before per the directions I got from here (thanks!) on a Tivo I bought from BigLots. Thanks in advance ...
