UPDATE: Of course, you know by now Ritter has been chosen superintendent. Check back for details. It's looking like Jim Ritter is, indeed, going to be the 2008-09 superintendent. He was the only person to join the school board tonight behind closed doors. He came out, told the press that they had a great discussion about the district's past, present and future and said a formal announcement would come tomorrow. Board President Michelle Gadbois also said the board chose an interim but told reporters to wait until tomorrow. But it's pretty obvious Ritter is going to be the interim superintendent at this point. Check back tomorrow for the "official" word. ...
