I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got a good look at the Dallas Cowboys — the team I would be most worried about in the NFC if I were the Giants. I’ll save that topic for another day, though. For now, I just wanted to update you on yesterday’s injury report: DE Justin Tuck was added to the injury report after he did not practice with a “lower leg” injury. Unfortunately I don’t know anything more than that. There was no media access to the Giants yesterday, and you’ll be surprised to know they didn’t release any additional information about the injury. We’ll see in about an hour whether he’s going to practice today. Also, on the bad news list: WR Plaxico Burress (hamstring), RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck), DT Fred Robbins (shoulder) and LB Jonathan Goff (hamstring) missed their second straight day of practice. If any of them are forced to sit out practice today, it’s a good bet that they won’t be out there on Sunday either. That’s not a guarantee, but usually (with the notable exception of Burress) if guys don’t practice they don’t play. So it’s good news, then, that RB Brandon Jacobs (knee), WR Domenik Hixon (ankle) and DE Jerome McDougle (knee) all practiced on Thursday. The real test for Jacobs, though, will be how his knee held up after that workout and whether it swelled up again today. *** I know it’s still a holiday for some of you, but you’re not going to want to miss the final installment of Eli Manning Trivia rig ...
