As someone who has worked closely with Team Ninja over the years, I opted out of being involved with the review process for Ninja Gaiden II , despite being the series' resident expert, in case anyone thought there might be any bias towards my review. Myself and the staff know that any review I lay down on a game represents my genuine feelings towards it, but why give Internet quarterbacks ammo? That, however, doesn't mean I can't give you an in-depth tour of the game's levels, minute by minute, and so, for those curious enough to endure mild spoilers (there isn't much to spoil as there really isn't much of a plot) , here is what a first run through the game feels like, up to the boss for the sixth stage.
