Teens ages 12 through 18 in Tecumseh, Shawnee and McLoud will find much to explore at their hometown libraries when they participate in the teen summer reading challenge titled “Metamorphosis at Your Library.” • June 21 is Library Day at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History at the University Oklahoma. The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Get free admission with a Pioneer Library System library card. • Tecumseh Public Library, 114 N. Broadway, will have Mixed Media Art at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Artist Lynn Melton will show teens how to modify traditional watercolor painting techniques to create a mixed-media masterpiece. Philadelphia, will have Mixed Media Art on Wednesday, June 18, at 2 p.m. The following week on Wednesday, June 25, at 2 p.m. teens have a program titled Mummies Exposed when representatives from the Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art focus on the museum’s ancient Egyptian collection.
