| It is was day 10 in the trial of Antonio Stridiron and Bradley Davis. The two men stand accused of two separate crimes- Stridiron of murdering 27-year-old Joshua Velasquez, and Davis is accused of aggravated assault. After some brief morning discussion, jurors experienced an un-orthodox end to the day. Dan Erdmann has more. (Dan Erdmann, KX News) It's not very often that court proceedings conclude outside the courtroom, but that was the case today. Before jurors were called into the courtroom, Judge Doug Mattson made his ruling on a previous request made by Stridiron's attorney, Robert Martin. Martin asked the judge to allow a jury viewing of the area in which the crime took place. Judge Mattson said he would allow the viewing, but jury members were ordered to remain on a bus as it was driven through the neighborhood. That trip took place this afternoon and upon returning to the courthouse, jury members were released for the day. This morning, the State called only one rebuttal witness, who testified in response to a defense witness called yesterday. Cynthia Gerber's testimony was a short one, but in it, she talked about her knowledge of Alicia Boyce. Boyce told the court Wednesday that she observed a physical altercation between Bradley Davis and Joshua Velashuez seven months prior to his murder.
