It is pure speculation by yours truly, but nonetheless quite intriguing that HP's acquisition of EDS could in fact be the cause of John McHugh leaving as vice president and worldwide general manager of HP ProCurve . In HP's June 6th, 2008 Form 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, ProCurve networking financial results were lumped under Corporate Investments (page 40). Not exactly robust profitability at $14 million on Net Revenue of $448 million for the six months ended April 30, 2008. Meanwhile, EDS had net income of $716 million on revenue of $22 billion for the fiscal year 2007 ( See page 12 ).
