Position Overview: Yodle.com is looking for smart and motivated software engineers to join our development team. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years experience, and thrive in a fast moving, fast growing and agile startup environment. You should be a strong coder, passionate about learning new things and meeting challenging business requirements. Qualifications: • Excellent Java programming, object-oriented design and database skills. • Test-driven development using mocking frameworks, Junit, etc. • Experience working with the Spring framework, JUnit, Eclipse, Subversion and some knowledge of Tomcat • Strong SQL skills, ideally including PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server • JMS Multithreading/Concurrency experience a plus. • Solid understanding of Linux • Experience with dynamic languages such as Groovy, Perl, Ruby or Python • Experience using third-party APIs via SOAP/REST. • Some familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Spring MVC, Struts, JSF or Tapestry is highly desirable. • Strong teamwork and communication skills are a must. • Bachelor's degree required.
