GALESBURG  –  Daily Review Atlas Senior Shootout star Isiah Cunningham signed an NJCAA national letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg.     Cunningham, a 6-foot-1 guard, was a Galesburg High School Silver Streak standout averaging more than 10 points per game along with four assists.  He was MVP of the Silver Streaks in 2008, an honorable mention member of the Western Big 6 All-Conference Team, and an honorable mention member of the Quad City Times All-Metro Team.                “Isiah can bring versatility. He can play on and off the ball,” said Carl Sandburg College Head Coach Ryan Twaddle. “We want the best players in the area, and obviously he is one of them.”      Cunningham hopes to add some intensity to the Charger Roster. “CSC is close to home, and I figured I would stay here a couple more years,” said Cunningham. “I hope to bring good energy off the bench and add a spark whenever I come in.”     Despite guarding Monmouth-Roseville Titan star Ben Gillen in the Senior Shootout, and often challenging the much larger Shootout MVP Matt Buren, Cunningham stood out with his determined play and leadership of the north team.
