It has been 15 years since Jennifer White brought her tenacity to bear on the issue of providing fresh produce for some of Limestone County’s needy and elderly citizens.White’s efforts resulted in the establishment of the Community Garden, which not only has produced thousands of gallons of tomatoes, corn, pole beans, squash and other vegetables to be delivered to clients of several local, non-profit agencies, but also has served as a learning environment for interns and members of the Master Gardener Program. ...
