| Paul Scholes has declared that he expects to retire in two years. The 33 year old midfielder has one year left of his contract at Manchester United and is hoping for a further year's extension before finally hanging up his boots. Scholes who, unlike many of his team mates, has always shunned the typical footballer bling and wags lifestyle will not leave the game with a heavy heart.
