| KARACHI: SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote economic cooperation between these two regions. Secretary General, SAARC Chamber, Muhammad Iqbal Tabish and Chairman, ECO CCI, Rifat Hisarciklioglu inked the document at a ceremony here at Federation House which was attended by members of FPCCI and the Executive Committee member of ECO CCI. Iqbal Tabish said this MoU would help mobilise the resources and economic opportunities in both the regions for the best socio-economic interest of both regions. He urged people-to-people contact between these two regions. The Chairman ECO CCI agreed that the cooperation between these two regional economic fora would prove beneficial for all members countries. ... |
