Russ Stanton is the new editor at Los Angeles Times Los Angeles Times has named Innovation Editor Russ Stanton as their newspaper’s new editor. He was selected over two other probable candidates from the company: Managing Editor John Arthur and Editorial Page Editor Jim Newton. He joins the news media company at a time where the industry is facing intense competition from the online media. Stanton spoke about his appointment in the prestigious news media company: “We have literally dozens of people here who have been involved in winning Pulitzer prizes in recent years. What I bring to the table is an understanding of our print newsroom, our website and the Internet, and how we can make those three things work together to ensure that we’re going to be around for another 126 years.” Tags: Appointment , Los Angeles Times , News , News Media , Russ Stanton Related posts Wall Street Journal to become subscription fee free!
