kevindooley posted a photo: Andy Dooley, shot with Canon Powershot G7, through the viewfinder (TTV) of a Kodak Six-16 Brownie (approximate date of manufacture 1936). Still here in Michigan enjoying the waves and sun... I have discovered yet another fun method of photography called TTV, or "through the viewfinder". By focusing on the subject through the viewfinder of an old vintage camera, one can get quite interesting effects, and an old-timey feel to the image. It turns out that where we are (southwest Michican) is a hot spot for antique shops, so this could be a dangerous vacation... I already grabbed three vintage cameras from my inlaws basement, and my wife Mary bought me three more for our anniversary, and I have yet to go out shopping myself... hmmm, might need another suitcase to come back with... See ya'll soon! ... |
