 Joystiq reports that a PixelJunk Eden demo will go live with this week’s PSN update, while the full game will drop next Thursday, July 31st, for an undisclosed price. For the past few months, Eden has been lavished with critical praise, but the screenshots and videos leave me puzzled--it looks gorgeous, but how does it play? Those at UGO who’ve gone hands-on with Eden think users getting advanced play time with the unique title will stir up excitement for the product’s release. Personally, PixelJunk Monsters and PixelJunk Racers eat up more of my playtime than any other PSN title; though Racers may have left other fans cold, Monsters’ quality take on “tower defense” should be motivation enough for all PS3 owners to test drive this title tomorrow.
