Rarely do I laugh this hard while writing crime stories. But Daniel Costenbader, 21, of Emmaus, committed the end all be all of burglaries when he shattered a window into the hallowed halls of the Lasch Building, home to the Penn State football program, early this morning, according to police. Here's one version that will be updated for Friday's paper: http://www.centredaily.com/news/local/story/733354.html Costenbader allegedly explained to police, after he was arrested with a stolen Penn State football helmet on his head and the Alamo Bowl Trophy in his hands at 3:15 a.m., that he was celebrating his 21st birthday in the borough and got rip roarin' drunk. So he decided to jog home, to Toftrees, a couple miles away.
