Photo: Associated Press/Dennis Cook House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday moved to quash allegations swirling on the internet that House Democrats are trying to gag their Republican colleagues online. The "Twitter Dome Scandal," as TechPresident blogger Nancy Scola calls it , began this Tuesday, when  Texas Republican House member John Culberson, 52,  issued the following Tweet : "I just learned the Dems are trying to censor Congressmen's ability to use Twitter Qik YouTube, Utterz etc -- outrageous and I will fight them." "Before I could post a Tweet I would have to get approval of the twits that run the House!" tweeted Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas. Picture: Courtesy John Culberson That tweet, and this post from the conservative group blog The Next Right , was followed by several others by Culberson on the subject that day. They set off a chain of posts all over the blogosphere, spreading the idea that House Democrats were trying to put the brakes on their Republican colleagues' internet communications.
