 Seems like by linux.com http://www.linux.com/feature/139212 seems like they like opera a lot. Here are the tests they ran None passed the acid 3 test, but opera 9.5 did the best. Opera the best again!Taking less time then the rest. Firefox has an edge over opera Firefox again has an edge over opera, but opera still looks pretty good compared to IE. Opera wins this test. So overall, comparing the best in this tight competition (of course the best is firefox and opera) opera 9.5 beats firefox in these tests 3-2. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, for security, i wrote a thread on this, but its a bit outdated, you will be surprised of the changes.(this was not by linux.com!) Internet Explorer, known for being hackers favorite target, is microsoft reacting? A little Moderately critical may not seem that bad, but again this is a browser war. Safari, my old thread showed that safari was horrible in this area, but did it improve? Yes Safari went from highly critical to less critical, good for apple Firefox, thought of being the most secure (but is it true????) No The thing is about firefox, it only has 1 issue, but its a highly critical issue. Last, but not least, OPERA 9.5, the browser that is not well known, and having less then 1% market share, but are the 1% safe? YES THEY ARE! opera has some pretty bad attacks, but the thing is THEY ARE ALL PATCHED.So if ... |
