| Stevens Point -- The state Republican Party continues its two-day convention here today, with the featured guest to be Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan.
Other speeches are slated from the party's three members of Congress, including U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Janesville), who is serving as convention chairman. Two other prominent figures -- Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen and Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker -- are also scheduled to speak.
Beyond the speeches and reports on the party's prospects this fall in the state Assembly and state Senate, the agenda includes a platform discussion.
