TELEVISION 1. Farscape: Pilot Brian Henson, son of the legendary Jim Henson, knows his anamatronic puppets, and back in 1999 he put that knowledge on display for adult audiences with the advent of the sci-fi series Farscape. The show, which was filmed in Austraila, focuses on an Earth-dwelling astronaut who inadvertently enters a wormhole into another universe and quickly becomes caught in the middle of conflicting planets, outer space empires, and the personalities of escaped alien prisoners (re: the puppets) living on the starship Moya. After completion of its fourth season the series was canceled, eliciting a resounding "what the frell?" from loyal fans worldwide. Check out the pilot episode that started it all here on Fancast. 2.
