In recent months, the price of oil has been spiraling upward like a stunt jet. Its ascent has sent ripples out across the economy, affecting everything from prices at the pump to the cost of groceries. On Wednesday, the Telluride Business Alliance will hold a panel discussion that will focus on the impacts of energy prices on the airline and tourism industry here in Telluride. “I think any business who relies on tourism should be coming to this,” said Diana Carey, director of the Business Alliance. “In some way and some form it trickles down to everybody.” The meeting is at 9 a.m. in the second floor conference room of the Camel’s Garden Hotel.
