Born - Corning District, Saskatchewan on March 29, 1943 Died - Kipling, Saskatchewan on July 6, 2008 Tom Swindells, Kipling, Sask. died suddenly on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at the age of 65 years. The funeral service was held in the Kipling United Church Kipling, Sask. on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Lynette Callfas officiating. Interment of cremated remains in Graytown Cemetery. Tom and his mom moved to Regina in the fall of 1958 where he worked many jobs. From there they moved to Saskatoon until August of 1992 when they moved back to Kipling. Tom worked for Batters for a short time when the golf course was being built. He also worked for Kipling Industries and for Orin LaRose in the fall during harvesting. He worked for Mr. LaRose for years before starting work at the Kipling Landfill. When Red Coat Waste took over he was hired by them and worked Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at the landfill. Tom was still working for Kipling Industries where he helped out in Sar-Can when needed and would run errands for Kipling Industries. He also would pick up all the clients in the morning and take them all to work and then pick them up at lunch and take them home. After lunch he would pick them up for work and pick them up in the afternoon and take them all home for night. Then on Friday afternoons he would drive the Brickleys back to Kennedy for the weekend and then pick them up again on Sunday afternoon and bring them back to Ki ...
