| A neat edge on galaxy with a Quasar just below it. It's in Ursa major just over the Canes Venatici border. I'd have expected more field galaxies in this area than I picked up. Imaging in moon light does cut down their numbers but this is really a bigger loss than I expected. Second image shows the location of the QSO which has a red shift of about Z=1.2 which puts it way out there with a light travel distance of over 8 billion light years. Now if that field star in our galaxy wasn't right in the dust lane....
That red star below and right of the galaxy is the reddest star I've ever imaged. I couldn't find anything on it however. Though I haven't had time to try very hard.
