(ap) Bush and Fukuda agree: Medvedev's suit is disco Good morning: Bush abroad : The president had his first-ever meeting with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in Japan, and pronounced him "a smart guy." Bush also was careful to refer only to Medvedev's "ascendency" to the presidency, not his election. For his part, Medvedev pertly referred to Bush as "George," a perk generally afforded only BFF world leaders like John Howard and Angela Merkel -- which coming from Medvedev, sounded sexily insolent. Advantage Dems : Stuart Rothenberg takes a clear-eyed look at the state of the race and surmises that Democrats have many advantages this year, but still have to fight to win it. McCain's best hopes could be the electoral college and voter doubts about Obama. Hispanic vote : It's not just all about immigration, okay?
