Manager, Digital Media   (Associate Media Director) Purpose: The Manager, Digital Media provides functional management and leadership to a team of experienced Media Planners. This position is expected to be a strong cross-functional leader, working closely with the agencies and internal marketing and media groups. A primary responsibility will be to provide direction for digital media proposals for all Target Corporation online marketing programs with a high degree of autonomy and urgency to meet corporate brand objectives. The chosen candidate will have proven leadership skills, a solid track record of developing talent to execute our media strategy, and a strong media background in multiple mediums. Duties and Responsibilities: Hands-on management of the development and execution of media recommendations including strategic insights, investment recommendations and plan evaluation based on clear understanding of brand objectives Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a cross-functional, cross-divisional team Self-starter and able to thrive in a highly dynamic environment Provides feedback, coaching and development to team Oversee, author and/or constructively edit and review the writing of media documents (timelines, POVs, RFPs, plans, agreements) Direct the integration of internal and external resources necessary for development and implementation of recommendations Act as a point-person on relevant new media applications, develop ...
