The suspect in the murder of an Orrtanna teen will be arraigned, an Adams County judge determined Friday. At a preliminary hearing in the Adams County Courthouse, Magisterial District Judge Mark Beauchat determined that Jason Reuben Armstrong, 34, of Carroll Valley will be arraigned July 28 on charges related to the stabbing death of 19-year-old Andrew Scott Bosley on May 28. Three witnesses testified at the hearing and evidence was presented by Adams County District Attorney Shawn Wagner before Beauchat made the decision and set the date for Armstrong’s arraignment. Shocking death Bosley’s body was found in a wooded area off Ski Run Trail in Carroll Valley the morning of May 28. The Adams County coroner’s office determined he was stabbed more than 100 times and also suffered numerous defensive wounds to his arms, a cut on his right palm, a 4-inch-deep cut on his neck and a severed right ear. No official time of death has been determined, but police believe Bosley was killed early that morning. Bosley’s body also was burned on the upper torso and left arm. Armstrong was arrested the same day, May 28, and charged with Bosley’s murder. Armstrong also was charged with possessing instruments of crime, arson, tampering with or fabrication of evidence, abuse of corpse and driving under the influence of alcohol.
