IBM's Almaden Research Center built the service, which it calls "highlight," as a Firefox browser extension. It lets users record the steps required to perform a simple task on the web—like looking up a flight—on a website, and then clip and send the relevant section of the Web site to another server, which makes the pages viewable on a mobile device.
