Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. and UAW Local 2488 have begun negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement. The current agreement expires at 11:59 p.m., Aug. 28. MMNA and the UAW issued the following statement: "We are now into substantial negotiations of a new contract between the UAW and Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., and we hope to reach a satisfactory and timely agreement.
