KARACHI, October 13, 2008 – Microsoft initiated another spell of its ongoing virtualization campaign at a ceremony that commenced at Avari Towers and witnessed the presence of Microsoft’s top dignitaries even from across the globe. The aim of the one-day session was to enhance the awareness of Virtualization Technology within the country and give impetus to its deployment in businesses across the board. The Microsoft 2008 Virtualization Launch Wave Event found decision makers in major Pakistani corporations as its main target. Virtualization is the next momentous phenomenon hedged to shape the IT sector. In the current times of resource crunch where businesses align to install cost prohibitive measures, Microsoft provides virtualization solutions which would be a key enabler for companies to optimize their IT investments and implement a flexible and dynamic data centre.
