Computing kingpin Microsoft Corp. revealed Monday that it has signed a patent cross-licensing agreement with HOYA Corp.'s Pentax Imaging Systems Division. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, Microsoft did divulge that Pentax is providing compensation. By sharing their intellectual properties, Microsoft explained, the two companies will be able to enhance existing product lines and develop future ones.
