NEW YORK, July 14, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Merger and acquisition activity in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) sector reached $30.8 billion in 2007, the highest level since 2000, according to the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP report, "Flying High - Aerospace and Defence M&A." Nearly two-thirds of total deal value was invested in North America with another one-third invested in Europe.
