| [Images: Big Pictures / Mr Paparazzi ] Clutching a copy of Sharpe’s Fury, we spotted a solemn looking Mel Gibson leaving a rehab centre, which specialises in drug and alcohol treatment, in North Hollywood, yesterday…. The actor/director recently raised a few eyebrows when he sparked up an unlikely friendship with troubled pop princess Britney Spears. First the pair were spotted dining together in Los Angeles and then before we knew it he’d whisked her away to Costa Rica and for a while we all believed it was a genuinely selfless act and Gibson simply wanted to help Brit Brit. Oh what fools we were, it turns out Mel had an ulterior motive all along. For some unknown reason he wanted to set Britney up with his equally troubled son who was admitted to rehab for drug and alcohol addiction last year. But we hear his cunning plan never came to fruition. As soon as Britney got wind of what was going on not only did she refuse to meet the actor’s son but she refused to see him as well! ... |
