Speaker: Feng Deng, General Partner, Northern Light Venture Capital Feng’s glories started when he picked up a book called “Fire In Valley: The Making Of The Personal Computer”, which awakened his entrepreneur spirit. Netscreen, the company that he co-founded in 1997, had tremendous growth. With less than 6 years, it became the third largest network security company in the world. In 2005, he co-founded Northern Light Venture Capital. Its portfolio includes Nasdaq companies, such as Aciton Semiconductor and Spreadtrum Communications, and the No. 1 dating site in China -- baihe.com. We are honored to have Feng share his glories and his perspective on both entrepreneurial and VC investment opportunities and challenges in China, one of the biggest emerging markets.
