Section: Computers , Mobile Computers , Laptops MSI has recently unveiled a new special edition for its Wind netbook, the Love Edition and it will support the Global Charity Program. The new special edition Wind will be available in pure white with tans, bright silver and shining gold hearts on the casing. It will otherwise keep the same specs as the standard edition Wind. With the introduction of this netbook, MSI is also launching the “Love with the Wind” global charity program which will help “poor children” in countries such as Taiwan, China, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Korea and India learn to use computers. According to MSI, their goal is to “make a concrete contribution to bridge the digital divide and encourage others to show their care as well.” If nothing else I have to give MSI some credit, typically a love edition brings to mind a device that is either available in red or pink and launched sometime leading up to Valentines Day, neither of which happened. The MSI Wind Love Edition actually looks nice with some subtle graphics on the case, but nothing over the top and gaudy, well done MSI. Plus you cannot fault them for giving to charity.
