In news that will please many and piss off many others, George Lucas is indeed involved with the plot of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed . Of course, as the creator of the franchise, many are thrilled to have his direct involvement in the upcoming game. But as the guy some say tarnished the franchise with those last three crappy movies many are cringing. "George gave us a history lesson about what the major characters in the Saga were doing in that time frame, and offered feedback and suggestions about the plot and characters,” says Force Unleashed executive producer Haden Blackman, who noted that Lucas has been involved in the entire 4-year development cycle. In case ya didn’t know, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a multimedia project developed by LucasArts along with Dark Horse Comics, Lego, Hasbro, and Del Rey Books that consists of a videogame, a tie-in novel, action figures, a comic book, a reference book and a role-playing game supplement, as well as a book on the making of the game. The game will be available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, second-generation N-Gage, iPhone, mobile phone, and PlayStation 2 platforms. Source ...
