A judge has recommended rehabilitation for the man accused in the same Greensboro robbery as the son of North Carolina State basketball coach Sidney Lowe. The News & Record of Greensboro reported Friday that 20-year-old Brian Patrick Martin was sentenced to between 24 months and 38 months in prison. The judge recommended Martin be sent to the Evergreen Rehabilitation Center. The Department of Correction will make the final decision. Martin pleaded guilty to charges related to a home break-in and a shooting in a dorm at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Both incidents occurred in March 2007. His co-defendant, Sidney Lowe II, was sentenced to 15 months in prison. Lowe pleaded guilty to more than a dozen charges related to the robbery. ...
