| On July 8, 2008 the vessel “Lehmann Timber”, which was seized off the coast of Somalia by pirates on May 28, has been released. Now the vessels headed to the neutral waters. Vessel’s captain Valentin Bartashev told, that the vessel will call at the port of Aden in 5 days. Owner of the vessel has paid a ransom today, but it’s exact sum is not reported.Earlier the pirates had been demanding $750 000.
