Konst Will Not Drop Out of Race For The 26 th Congressional Seat Kathy Konst, an Erie County Legislator, seeking the nomination for the 26th Congressional District, is one of the few politicians left who believe the people should elect the best candidate, not the political bosses at any level of government Kathy is a classy lady who has great inner strength to face anyone and stand up for her friends. In the 61 st State Senatorial race the exact same thing is happening to her that is happening to the endorsed Amherst Committee candidate, Dan Ward. A movement is being led by Debbie Norton, who made it clear she is a strong supporter of Erie County Legislator Michele Iannello, who happens to be married to Dan Ward’s brother Dennis .
