| Posted by Jane Murphy Those prolific list-writers at Forbes have just released the names of the Hollywood actors who have banked the most cash over the past 12 months. Tinseltown's top male earner is Will Smith, who's pocketed a whopping $80m (around £40m), largely thanks to the success of Hancock. Next on the list is Johnny Depp with a not-too-shabby $74m (around £37m), followed by Eddie Murphy, who made $55m (around £27.5m). Other high earners included Will Ferrell, Bruce Willis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler. And yet the actors who make the headlines week after week - the likes of Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and George Clooney - were notable by their absence.
